Due to its fast growth and the support of the shareholder, a major actor in Renewable Energy, Our Client is expanding internationally and is looking for an Engineer, specialized in Energy Efficiency, based in Bucharest, Romania.
Reporting to the Country Director/Sales Manager in Romania and functionally to the Energy Efficiency Officer, based in Brussels, Belgium:
Your main task will be to complete Energy Performance projects (audits, implementation of energy efficiency projects, etc.).
In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining good relationships with the client and all project stakeholders.
To do this you will need to:
- Participate to pre-sales meetings with the Sales Managers to identify the client’s needs in different countries in Eastern Europe, especially in Romania
- Travel on regular trips abroad to visit the technical installations, and buildings and clients, owners, or managers of large buildings. Travel from time to Brussels.
- Provide technical expertise on Energy Efficiency projects in development (Energy Dimensioning, Dynamic Thermal Simulation, Relighting, Energy Management System, Energy Performance Contract, Carbon Footprint studies, HVAC design, Building certification and labelling )
- Carry out energy audits and ISO 50.001 projects
- Coordinate with the support services of Our Client and its partners: Technical - Financial - Legal - Insurance
- Identify subcontractors and suppliers, work timelines and calculate return on investment
- Keep a constant watch on the market and regulations
You will be based in Bucharest.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- You have a good knowledge of special techniques of construction and you quickly grasp the technical and energy issues of buildings; you are at ease with technical subjects (process, thermal, thermodynamic, electricity, low and high voltage, etc.)
- You are curious and keen to work in the energy efficiency and photovoltaic sectors
- You are able to work independently within the framework of the tasks set. You share information in an open, structured, and synthetic manner with your colleagues
- You have a good team spirit
- You have excellent interpersonal skills, listening skills, and curiosity
- You are rigorous in following up on files and have organizational and writing skills (minutes, planning, client reporting, etc.)
- You are familiar with the Microsoft suite: Excel & Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- 2 years experience in a similar role
- Master's degree required or significant experience
